The modular rail trailer

The UNAC FlexTrailer is a modular rail trailer designed to be towed by the CAT M323F or UNAC 22F hydraulic road-rail excavator.

This versatile trailer will allow you to perform a wide range of operations:

- Transport of material (rails, railway sleepers, poles).
- Transport of excavation tools and various site tools.
- Transport of ballast, large bags of materials.

With its standard Twist-Lock system, the FlexTrailer can also transport standard 10" or 20" containers depending on the length of the FlatBed or an earth-moving bucket.

MISSIONS

Flexible and cost-effective transport

- Flexibility: 2 chassis available according to your needs, the FT425 for a length of 4 m, or FT625 for a length of 6 m.
- As the chassis and the platform are completely symmetrical, there is no need to respect the direction of the track and the assembly of the chassis-module is facilitated.
- The welded chassis of all models incorporates a leaf spring suspension system capable of supporting a payload of 25,000 kg.
- The FLEXTRAILER chassis is equipped with retractable support legs at all four corners. These allow the trailer to be positioned in a storage position in which the rail wheels are no longer in contact with the ground, avoiding shocks and damage to the wheel structure.
- This storage position also allows up to 5 single chassis to be stacked, or up to 3 chassis + platforms to be stacked together
